Fertile forest soils and favourable growing conditions mean that the natural fibres used in our products are effectively renewed through natural regeneration. Our products are handmade by artists from the islands of the Philippines.
Bamboos are the fastest growing plants in the world. They are capable of growing up to 60 centimeters (24 in.) or more per day due to a unique rhizome-dependent system. This astounding growth rate is highly dependent on local soil and climatic conditions, both of which are present in our jungles.
Many natural fibres such as jungle vine, langgi twig and elephant grass are used to make our products.
The different finishes can mean more than 20 separate procedures to each piece as it moves in and out from the various sections.
