Judeen Young

Biography

Judeen Young was born in Kingston, Jamaica, and has lived most of her life in South Florida. She credits the path she has chosen to her tenth grade art teacher discovering her talents. She attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale where she graduated with a degree in Advertising Design.

Up until 1998, when Judeen began painting, she had thought of herself as an illustrator, and now enjoys the freedom that painting gives her. Versatile in many different artistic styles and imagery, she likes to explore different mediums and techniques; she considers this a great learning process, allowing her to grow and improve her skills as an artist. She believes her talent is a gift from God, allowing her do what she loves.
