Anne Valverde is a photographer with a very special talent. Her photographs are a combination of professionalism, passion and feeling. Even frequently reproduced themes are given an amazingly fresh appeal, thanks to her skilful perspectives and creativity. This is impressively and compellingly evident in the New York art prints for which Anna provided the themes. The usual dimensions seem to have completely disappeared. There is neither top nor bottom; the City itself is portrayed and experienced in an in-between state, far beyond conventional spatial dimensions.
