The Artist: Ken Messom

Ken Messom Creative Artwork originally started about the same time the Apple Mac computer began to make litho artists a thing of the past, and Ken Messom received less and less hours from the company he was employed by. Ken decided to work from home, helping companies with design work, typesetting and graphic art, but was still competing against designers that used computers, something he had no time for. During this time, he still painted his own work, exhibited in the Royal Academy, but typical of many artists didn't paint for commercial gain, only for his own pleasure. It wasn't until his son Tim came back from five years of traveling that KMCA became what it is now. Tim loves his dad’s art and made it his business to get him the recognition his work deserves... A few years ago, Ken moved from his home in England to a beautiful spot on the west coast of Ireland, buying a small cottage by the sea. From the first time he saw this view of the mountains, and the sea, the changing light, the superb sunsets and stunning reflections, he knew he had to try to paint it! Ken has always painted, even from very early childhood. Portraits, still-life and wildlife have always been favorites. He has exhibited in some of the top galleries in Britain.

"Trend-setting, Imaginative, Mod, Colourful." As a unique fine art print resource, Poems continues to embrace contemporary art and artists. Poems are passionate about art and work closely with the artists they publish always looking for something unique either in colour, subject matter or treatment. The concept of "Poems" originated from a philosophy that art is poetry for the eye and stirs feeling, just as words entice the ear. Every piece of art is produced by an artist with a measure of passion.
